SUPERDRUG CREWE – BRIGHT LIGHTS, BOLD BRAND IMPACT
When Superdrug opened their new store in Crewe, they needed more than just functional signage. They needed a visual statement – something that would stand out, draw people in, and bring their brand to life. That’s where we came in. At Leading Edge, we designed and delivered a complete retail signage solution for Superdrug Crewe. It was bold, impactful, and consistent from the pavement to the product aisles.
We worked closely with the Superdrug team throughout. Our goal was clear: create signage that matched their brand standards while also building a vibrant, memorable experience for every shopper. From glowing signs outside to bold visuals inside, we helped create a space that connects at every step.
A FULLY BRANDED EXPERIENCE - INSIDE AND OUT
The Superdrug Crewe retail signage solution was all about cohesion and clarity. Outside the store, we installed bold illuminated flex face signage and tray signs with fret-cut acrylic lettering. These gave the façade strong high street visibility. To complete the look, we added pink neon rope lighting that wrapped the entrance with Superdrug’s signature energy.
Additionally, branded Correx bollard covers and temporary window vinyls helped carry that same message right down to street level. Every detail was designed to make an impression, from the first glance to the front door.
Inside, the branding only intensified. We fitted illuminated lightboxes and tension fabric frames featuring full-colour prints on Samba Green—a recyclable material that’s both sustainable and striking. Each graphic was printed with precise colour control, ensuring perfect brand alignment.
Behind the scenes, we added health and safety signage and Smart-X board lettering across back-of-house areas. These elements didn’t just look good—they delivered clarity and professionalism throughout.
From the entrance to the checkout, everything worked together to create a seamless and immersive retail environment.
