Leading Edge Announces Strategic Rebrand and Formation of ‘Leading Edge Group’ to Unify Signage, Facilities Management, and Construction Divisions.
Leading Edge, a name established 2008 specialising in signage and graphics services, is proud to announce the formal unification of its three core business sectors — signage & graphics, facilities management, and construction — under a single umbrella entity: Leading Edge Group. This strategic merger marks a significant milestone in Leading Edge’s journey, streamlining its comprehensive service offering to provide a seamless, end-to-end experience for clients across the UK and ROI.
By consolidating these specialist divisions, Leading Edge reinforces its position as a market leader capable of delivering integrated design, manufacturing, installation, construction, interior fit out & maintenance solutions.
The formation of Leading Edge Group is designed to leverage the collective expertise of its three pillars into two new companies to sit alongside Leading Edge Signage and Graphics; effective 1st March 2026.
Leading Edge Signage and Graphics:
Continuing its legacy of excellence in creative design, large-format print, and architectural fabricated signage. From initial concept renders to high precision manufacturing using premium materials, the division remains at the forefront of brand physicalisation.
Leading Edge Facilities:
Providing dedicated site maintenance, reactive repairs, and long-term asset management to ensure brand environments remain in peak condition.
Leading Edge Projects:
Delivery of construction and fit out projects, for single sites and national roll-outs. The change from ‘Construction’ to ‘Projects’ is to better reflect the mix of construction and interiors.
Enhanced Efficiency and Communication
For clients, the merger means a more cohesive and refined approach to project management and operations.

Retiring the Tomlinson Name
Tomlinson has been established since 1852. The business was acquired by Leading Edge in 2021.
“Given its heritage and excellent reputation, we have thought long and hard about retiring the Tomlinson name. However, with the last family member exiting the business in the 1980’s and the strength and brand reputation of Leading Edge, we decided now is the time to bring everything under one umbrella and continue building what we started back in 2008.” Matthew said. Other than the change of name, it will be business as usual for customers, suppliers and employees, with the added benefits and complimentary services that the other Leading Edge Group businesses and staff will bring. There will be no changes to company registered numbers or addresses.
